It is a fairly newish resort, providing mostly self catering accommodation with some hotels. A range of restaurants offer everything from fast food to good fish and traditional cuisine.

There are two small beaches at Cala Blanca, which are well protected and safe for swimming and offer a selection of water sports activities. Water parks at the nearby Cala’n Bosch and Cala’n Forcat resorts are easily accessible by bus. A number of festivals take place throughout the year, allowing tourists to experience some of the local traditions and culture of the island. A pedestrianised shopping area in the centre of the town includes a variety of souvenir shops and small supermarkets.

Overall, a quiet resort which is very suitable for families with children.
