Cala Forcat is closely connected to Cala Blanes and Los Delfines, which together form one of the largest purpose built resorts on the island of Minorca. It lies on the extreme west coast of Minorca, 30 miles from the capital, Mahon. The beach at Cala'n Forcat beach is essentially a deep inlet with a number of swimming platforms. However, there is a water park in the resort which is mainly suited to younger children. Nearby Cala'n Blanes has a much better beach. Cala'n Forcat has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and has a dynamic night life. The historic city of Ciutadella, the former capital, is a short bus ride away.
