The resort of Santo Tomas is almost midway between the resorts of Son Bou and Cala Galdana on the central southern coast of Minorca. Transfer time to this resort from the airport at Mahon is approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Santo Thomas is a quiet, easy-paced town, with a long and narrow beach which is protected by sand dunes and is excellent for swimming . A number of bars and restaurants line the pedestrianized promenade behind the beach. There are small shopping centres and mini-markets in the town and some good hotels offering nightly entertainment. Santo Thomas caters well for families, offering lots of activities including tennis, mini-golf, horseback riding and a variety of water sports.
